Been eating here for over 30 years. Probably the most authentic, well prepared Mexican food in San Diego County. Prices are reasonable & service is fast & friendly. The dining room can get very crowded so we usually order carry-out. Their shredded beef is the best I've had anywhere. Their carne asada is leaner than any other place in the county.

Great family owned and operated restaurant. It's a small place but they do a good job at getting your food out quickly. I wish they had beer on tap but they don't. Everything I have ever gotten from there has been really good. I love their super tacos. As far as I know this is the only Mexican food place in Ramona that makes albondigas. It's good too.

Great food, great service, the best place for Mexican food

The food here is fantastic- the service leaves a lot to be desired. I phoned in a to go order of 2 burritos and an order of chips and salsa. The lady on the phone clarified that the burritos each came with chips, and did I want an extra order of chips and salsa, and I said yes, because I know that each burrito comes with like 6 chips. So when I picked up the order I asked for salsa verse, and she said there were 3 in the bag- so I asked for 2 more. You would think I asked for the blood of her first born! I offered to pay for the extra salsa, but she preferred to just give me a hard time. So I get home and we sit down to dinner-- no side of chips- only the little 6 chip bags that came with each burrito. So just as the stingy salsa woman predicted, I didn't need as much as I asked for. I did pay for the extra chips- just didn't get them.Lesson learned: only go for dine in, and only during the day when the nice young man is working.

Order at the counter, then sit. Wait is not bad. The people are great. I will be back. Ordered the carne asada, very good. Runs like a family owned business, which means it gets mine. Muchas Gracias!!

Food was okay. Not the best but anything Mexican is always better than a fast food burger. My cheese enchilada was not hot or melted. 3 kinds of salsa none of which stood out. Taco was great. Hubby didn't like his shrimp.

The best Machaca burrito ever!

I have been going there for over thirty years. It is a good heart warming feeling . Family closeness is my joy. I enjoy the way they operate. Food served quickly. Always good portions. Happy place.

Carne Asada burrito to go. Came with a bag of chips... nice! Muy delicious! Only $7.99 too .. what a deal. When I pass through Ramona, this is where I'll be stopping.

I celebrated my PhD today in this delicious restaurant. Well we enjoyed a cool evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly one of the reasons for this fruitful meeting. The crew collaborated in a pleasant manner, the meals were appetizing and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Like no other taco shop anywhere! I highly recommend everyone who lives in Ramona or just passing through to stop in and have a bite to eat.

Best place in town for burritos. Meat flavor is extremely good, perfect amount of tortilla and a load of meat! And, they service is always amazing. Always on time.

They are super nice people and have the best food. My personal favorite is there California Burrito, but their quesadillas and rolled tacos are really good too.

Lunch special was very good. Chips and salsa excellent. A friend and I had a nice long visit over lunch. We made up for the long time we had not seen each other.
